Professional and Research Interests

Dr. Merritt Pember is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in orthopedic trauma care and sports medicine. He routinely performs shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgery including rotator cuff repair, ligament reconstruction, and meniscus repair.

Dr. Pember has been awarded medals for his service in the army where he has treated injuries and performed orthopedic surgery on military service men and women. He shares his knowledge at national presentations regarding war-zone orthopedic care based on his experiences in Iraq.
